So it's been exactly a year since I began this list of 100 things and so far I've completed 14 of them, which isn't a bad effort. At this rate it'll take nine years for me to complete everything...... It was never going to be easy but I would love to cross them off a little quicker, who knows I may set myself 100 more then!
A few updates on a few others, I'm currently attempting to complete Final Fantasy XII and after 52 hours of playing time I've currently just left the ancient city of Giruvegen and am about to return to Rabanastre to continue the quest to return peace to Avalice, it's a long hard slog but I'm still enjoying it mostly until I get to a boss that takes me to the very edges of sanity before I work out how to defeat it!
The Italian lessons are going really well on Duolingo, and I'm currently on level 20 with a 92% accuracy rating, which is much better than I ever did at French or German at school. I'm thinking it might be time soon to try and get a formal qualification in it. It's a weird one I now know lots of Italian words but I understand very little of the day to grammar that is needed to be fluent in the language,
I really wish I could say that learning the guitar is going as well, it really isn't, I don't think I could over emphasise how bad I am at anything musically related. I know a few chords but I'm struggling to go from chord to chord and the motivation for this one isn't shining through exactly but I will persevere, in the new year I think I'm actually going to have to pay for some proper lessons on this one and commit to it a bit harder.
The Sporcle one is going better at the current time of writing I have 516 badges of the required 1000 and am well on the way with loads of other badges on there. For those that don't know Sporcle is an online quiz site that you can spend hours on wasting your time away when your supposed to be doing other things....not that I ever play on it when I'm supposed to be working or anything.
I've got the premise of my script ready to go and have started work on it, provisionally entitled F.I.S.H. and I may give a synopsis on that in an upcoming blog post. Pokemon Go is ongoing, though I've had to slightly alter the challenge after they changed there levelling requirements, it's now level 80 iI need to get to and I'm currently on level 53!
I've recently acquired a grow your own bonsai tree kit, and some good quality chopsticks so those two are on the way to being crossed off. I've got a plan to visit Stonehenge in the pipeline with an old school friend who also wants to see the ruins and the same friend is also interested in doing some of the more physical activities.
So this is just a quick update, I know I haven't posted much this past month but between work, hospital trips, time away I haven't had time! Rest assured that will change though, I've just renewed this site for another year so I need to make sure I get my monies worth of it!
